Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, and while some locals plan to spend the day in the kitchen, many San Diegans will let the pros handle the cooking.  

Primavera Ristorante will celebrate full hearts and full stomachs with its second annual Thanksgiving dinner from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. The three-course prix fixe menu will be priced at $69.95 per person. Choose from all-natural turkey breast roulade, filetto mignon e gamberetti, and much more.  A specialty cocktail, the Pumpkin Spice White Russian, made with Kahlua, vanilla vodka and pumpkin spiced cream, will also be available.

barleymash: This Gaslamp District spot for delicious bites will be hosting a three-course Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 2:00 p.m. The first course consists of your choice of butternut squash soup, house salad or Caesar salad. The main course is Andouille Stuffed Turkey Roulade, with garlic mashed potatoes, brown ale biscuit stuffing, Brussels sprout casserole and roasted baby carrots. For the third course, chose between Spiced Apple & Raisin Bread Pudding and Sweet Potato and Pecan Pie, topped with vanilla Chantilly cream. Louisiana Purchase: Kick-off the Thanksgiving feast early during Louisiana Purchase’s Friendsgiving Chef’s Table, taking place on Tuesday November 19th. The Duck Dive

Celebrate Thanksgiving at the beach with The Duck Dive’s $15 Traditional Turkey Dinner with pumpkin pie, which will be served all day long (until supplies run out). Through November, PB’s premier beach lounge and eatery will also be holding a Holiday Toy Drive, with all donations going to the Foster Kids of San Diego and the Polinsky Center. With locations in La Mesa, Bay Park and Little Italy, Farmer’s Table will offer a special three-course Thanksgiving menu from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., featuring seasonally inspired dishes and Turkey Day favorites, including Pumpkin Soup, infused with autumnal ingredients, followed by hearty classics such as their Roasted Turkey Plate, complete with mashed potatoes, gravy, string beans, corn and cranberry sauce, and an offering of sweet indulgences like Pecan Pie topped with creamy vanilla ice cream. Dine at Coronado’s Feast & Fareway this Turkey Day, and enjoy prime views and an expertly plated Thanksgiving Day dinner along the Coronado Golf Course. Slater’s 50/50: Known for its unconventional burger mashups and ‘slaterized’ creations, Slater’s 50/50 offers Turkey Day all month long with the reintroduction of its fan-favorite THANKSGIVING BURGER! This ‘movable feast’ is an entire Thanksgiving dinner that puts the whole holiday in your hands, featuring a 1/3 lb. turkey patty piled high with brioche stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, and a garlic & sage aioli on a honey wheat bun. The Westgate Hotel: The Westgate Hotel offers two experiences for family and friends to feast. On Thursday, Nov. 28, the Traditions of Thanksgiving Buffet will be in the charming Le Fontainebleau Room. Zinqué: Change up your Thanksgiving traditions in Little Italy – Zinqué is ready to celebrate the holidays with French flare. The bistro offers French cuisine including authentic Parisian bread imported from the famous Poilâne Bakery in Paris, classic cheese and charcuterie selections and more European delights. The Los Angeles transplant also features a curated, French wine list for everyone to savor. Giardino (Lemon Grove): Order Thanksgiving to-go at Giardino. The quaint Italian restaurant will be open for brunch that morning, offering classics like Cannoli Waffles, Nutella Pancakes and Bloody Mary’s. Pacifica Del Mar (Del Mar): The ocean view restaurant is a holiday favorite amongst families. THE MED (La Jolla): The Pink Lady is one of the most popular and iconic places to dine on Thanksgiving. A beautiful buffet stocked with a raw bar and carving station will accompany seasonal selections like a carving station with free-range turkey and beef with rosemary wine, bourbon sweet potato casserole, a raw bar and a festive dessert display. Curadero: Looking for a tasteful yet casual meal for Thanksgiving? Curadero is the perfect place to gather over shared plates and incredible cocktails. Start with a selection of daily ceviches to pass around the table. For larger plates, order the Garlic Marinated Shrimp served with a curadero house salad and rice, or Pollo Adobada – Adobo marinated half chicken – with black beans and tostones de platanos.
