The Thanksgiving Burger is made with a seasoned turkey patty topped with brioche dressing, turkey gravy, house-made cranberry sauce and a garlic and sage aioli served on a honey wheat bun. ABOUT THE OWNER: Slater’s 50/50 was founded by longtime bacon-lover and San Diego State University graduate Scott Slater. He got his start in the restaurant industry through a successful and lucrative string of hot dog stands, feeding hungry contractors outside Home Depot stores. After four years of success, with hot dog stand profits suffering from the housing market crash, Slater took the plunge and sold his company to embark on a new venture: Slater’s 50/50. Named for his signature tailgate patty made from 50% bacon and 50% beef, Slater’s 50/50 has expanded to four locations and is taking the Southern California region by storm.
