Red Card Café in Bay Park has announced all new menus following last month’s hire of notable Executive Chef Jeff Larson, who hails from Napa’s renowned dining scene where he held prominent roles at a duo of Michelin recommended restaurants. Since joining Red Card Café in July 2017, Larson has overseen a creative, season-driven revamp of the gastropub’s dinner, lunch and brunch menus with dishes that are “simple and taste like what they are” per the chef, who has maintained Red Card’s concept of serving the world’s popular street foods and contemporary fare.
Known for a section of its menu dedicated to popular street foods from around the world, San Diego’s Red Card Cafénow offers new daily specials and new brunch dishes.
Fried Chicken Mondays: Red Card Café is embracing the fried chicken movement with Chef Alfonso Arellano’s Southern-style recipe featuring Nashville style spicy BBQ sauce with braised kale and rainbow swiss chard. This weekly special is available all day every Monday for $14.
