Executive Chef/Partner Emmanuel Piqueras (Peru’s official culinary ambassador to the U.S.) will host a Fiesta de la Vendimia (aka ‘grape harvest festival’) at Pisco Rotisserie & Cevicheria in Point Loma and Carlsbad the week of March 12th, with special events on March 14-15.
February is grape harvest time across Peru and South America, when vines yield grapes that will be transformed into beautiful red and white wine varietals, as well as Peru’s world-famous spirit, Pisco. The season culminates in March with Fiesta de la Vendimia, whenlocals and tourists celebrate the fruits of harvesting efforts with fairs, music, drinks, food and more! Fiesta de la Vendimia has been celebrated in Peru since 1958, and Pisco Rotisserie & Cevicheria is bringing the celebration to San Diego.
Following Pisco Rotisserie & Cevicheria’s flagship success within Point Loma’s Liberty Station neighborhood, restaurateur Sami Ladeki and Executive Chef Emmanuel Piqueras are pleased to announce the opening of a second location of Pisco Rotisserie & Cevicheria at 5970 Avenida Encinas in the progressive dining scene of Carlsbad. Now open for lunch and dinner service, Pisco introduces a menu of modern takes on Peruvian classics to North County, with unique dishes and special offerings created specifically for the Carlsbad market. The new location transforms the 4,500-square-foot property into North County’s destination for the largest selection of pisco-driven cocktails as well as dishes inspired by Peru — a country known for its culinary creativity and melting pot of cuisines.
