America’s Finest City is gearing up to celebrate San Diego 4th of July Specials with tantalizing food and drink for the occasion.

Celebrity favorite restaurant, Sugar Factory – known for its over the top desserts – has debuted a spirited Fourth of July Insane Milkshake that you won’t want to miss. Celebrate July Fourth with this limited edition blend of vanilla soft serve and cookie dough ice cream. Served in a patriotic vanilla frosted mug with a mix of red, white, and blue sugar crystals, and candy stars, this delicious shake is topped with whipped cream, strawberry-flavored rock candy, assorted fast food and cola gummies  Available at Sugar Factory Theatre Box the entire month of July! Price: $21

Savor two tacos of your choice and a Mexican beer this 4th of July holiday at City Tacos. The beloved taqueria will feature the irresistible combo for just $10 at all locations, with the exception of Imperial Beach. Snack on house favorites like the Surf & Turf Taco which features grilled Arrachera steak, shrimp, asadero cheese, cabbage, onion, tomato, cilantro, avocado slices, and a lime aioli. Other taco favorites include the Pescado, Pollo City and the Mexicali Taco.

Stop in for a refreshingly festive treat at Grater Greens in Mission Valley. Beginning July 1 through July 3, the local eatery will feature a specialty Fruity Firework fruit salad which incorporates fresh watermelon, feta, and blueberries. Grater Greens will be closed on 4th of July so make sure to stop in for this special before it’s gone!

Head to Shake & Muddle in Chula Vista and celebrate with a festive selection of bites and booze. The fusion mixology bar and kitchen will feature their signature Prime Steak Burger, which includes a house prime patty, bacon, American cheese and specialty sauce served alongside seasoned fries and a house pickle. Pair the decadent dish with a fun, layered Red, White, and Blue Shot. Shake & Muddle is open for indoor and outdoor dining from 8 a.m. to close and welcomes walk ins.

Fish Shop’s PB location will be celebrating with their specialty Firecracker Taco, made with house Fish Shop shrimp, pan sautéed and seasoned with Fish Shop seasoning topped with lettuce, mixed cheese, pico de gallo, and chipotle aioli drizzle. The Firecracker Taco, which pairs perfectly with any of the local craft beers available at Fish Shop, will be on the menu from Tuesday, June 29th – Sunday, July 4th1775 Garnet Avenue, SD CA 92109

Nothing says 4th of July weekend like barbecue, and Spill the Beans, a trendy bagel and coffee shop, agrees! Both locations, in the Gaslamp and Seaport Village, will feature a specialty flavor throughout July, so you can celebrate the holiday all month long. Stop in to try the Fried Onion and Gouda Bagel, with BBQ Brisket Cream Cheese and housemade pickles, from sister restaurant The Smoking Gun. Tastes just like a summertime backyard BBQ rolled into a bagel!

Talk To Me, Goose! Grab your wingman and head to barleymash for 4th of July Top Gun-themed food and drink all weekend long. Chow down on the International Relations specialty dish, made with chorizo, Cotija aioli, pickled jalapeños, and sweet corn black bean salsa, all on a sweet bread bun with a side of red potato salad. Little Italy’s Cloak & Petal is gearing up for 4th of July with red, white and blue cocktails for the occasion! Try all three, starting with the Firing Squad, which touts a red hue and brims with reposado tequila, lime pomegranate and angostura bitters, followed by the Infante’s crisp, white concoction, which melds reposado tequila, lime, orgeat, orange blossom water and togarashi, and finally, sip your way to the finish line with Nobunaga’s Demise, crafted from pineapple, lemon, coconut, banana, Navy Strength Gin, London Dry Gin, blue curacao and Japanese melon.
