Forget cookies and milk – Santa wants waffles. Cafe 222 will bring good tidings with its new seasonal breakfast, a Peppermint Patty Waffle, available Saturday, Dec. 22 through Monday, Dec. 24. Crafted by proprietor Terryl Gavre, the festive double-chocolate waffle, priced at $12.25, will be topped with mint whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies. Other popular breakfast selections include the pumpkin waffle, moist and light like pumpkin pie; and banana bread french toast, made with house-baked banana bread and topped with caramelized bananas; among others.
