Celebrate the holiday season with sips, spice and everything nice at El Chingon, located at 560 5thAvenue, with its new holiday elote, Mexican street corn, and Las Posadas cocktail, available throughout the month beginning on Friday, Dec. 1.
El Chingon’s will heat up the holiday season with a spicy appetizer: Christmas elotee. A popular street food in Mexico, El Chingon’s holiday twist is made with fire-roasted corn on the cobb coated with mayonnaise, cotija cheese, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and green Takis, priced at $7.
Las Posadas, named after the traditional nine-day Mexican holiday celebration, is made with Azuñia reposado tequila; agave spiced with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger; lime juice; a float of sparkling wine; and an apple slice garnish, available for $12.
