Common Theory Public House, an innovative craft beer-centric hotspot in Convoy, has revamped its menu completely to boast new and creative dishes suited to the neighborhood’s eager food lovers. The brains behind the menu shift is all thanks to the new addition to the Common Theory team, Executive Chef A.G. Warfield (formerly of Churchill’s Pub and Grille in San Marcos). He packs a passion for gastronomic arts and has an extensive knowledge of brewing, a fitting background for Common Theory’s craft focus and devotion to serving inventive eats.

Flock of Duck Fries

Some eye-catching highlights of the new menu include the Beet & Watermelon Poke, prepared with salt roasted beets, roasted watermelon, flax seed oil, sea beans, onion, cucumber, nori and sesame oil, served with taro chips; the Chef’s Burger, a carefully crafted burger containing a ground chuck burger, crab cake, cheddar cheese, hollandaise, arugula and a fried egg; and an original favorite with a loaded twist, the Flock of Duck Fries, crafted from fresh shoe string fries, shredded duck confit, crispy duck skin, duck gravy, fried duck egg and scallions.
