Carnitas’ Snack Shack Embarcadero just released a new menu loaded with more options and, of course, more pork. Leading up to the relaunch, Carnitas’ temporarily closed the week prior for a kitchen remodel and to prepare for the menu updates, which includes a new cocktail menu. They are excited to introduce the enhancements to new customers and existing pork fans.
The pork craftsman at Carnitas’ Snack Shack have worked hard to create a menu that can satisfyall types of cravings. “We pride ourselves on paying close attention to customer needs to further enhance the guest experience and we are overly excited to reveal our fresh new menu,”says Mike DiNorscia, CEO of Grain & Grit Collective, the San Diego hospitality group behindCarnitas’ Snack Shack.
The pork-centric eatery has introduced 19 new food items including more entrees, sides, shareables, and dessert options. Shack favorites, like the Triple Threat and SnackShack Steak Sandwich, remain on the menu, while indulgent new additions like the Swine Club, a triple decker sandwich made with pork belly, crispy ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, chive Aioli and grilled squaw bread are making their debut. Some lighter offerings include three new salad entrées and a Mahi Mahi Sandwich.
In addition to the craveable bites, the Embarcadero Shack Carnitas’ has also rolled out a newlineup of specialty cocktails including the Dee-Lite, a hand-crafted creation of vodka, prickly pear, pineapple, coconut, simple syrup and a splash of sprite. Perhaps the most exciting new offering is the Sundowner Flight, a margarita sampler flight featuring the Classic, Passion, Watermelon, and Prickly Pear margaritas.
Carnitas’ Snack Shack Embarcadero will continue to offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays 9am-1pm as well as happy hour Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm, Taco Tuesday 3pm-close, and Triple Threat Wednesday where guests can score a Triple Threat and draft beer for $14 all day long.
