When you think California cuisine, do you think avocado fries, pork belly grilled cheese sandwiches and blackened salmon tacos (topped with a lemon siracha aioli, of course)? If not, you sure are thinking about those things now! Lucky for you, each of these delicious items can be found on the completely reimagined menu at California Native (which is part of the Empress Restaurants Family, you may know of them from their work with Resident Brewing and The Local) which just launched this week.
Inspired by the sunny California lifestyle, California Native’s new menu offers a selection of unique menu items created with locally sourced meats and produce as well as an extensive wine list and California-infused specialty cocktails.
Also launched this week is California Native’s new happy hour menu (available every day from 3-6pm) which features everything from sweet chili fried cauliflower bites to the house specialty Native Burger (think all-beef patty topped with pork belly, Gouda cheese and a fried egg) all under $10. Wash it down with $5 beers, wines and well cocktails or try one of the $8 specialty drinks, like the Coastal Essence, which features Kiwi infused Grey Goose vodka, papaya and lemongrass essence with strawberry/lemon juice ice cubes.
