Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, the tallest waterfront building on the West Coast is happy to introduce its newly renovated bar and lounge, Top of the Hyatt.
Located 40 stories above San Diego Bay, the highest waterfront venue space in California recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to echo the contemporary design aesthetic that has been introduced throughout the rest of the hotel while complementing the coastal environment. The newly refurbished space bares a modern, luxurious edge while providing guests with floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of America’s finest city, including the San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, Point Loma and the city skyline.
Inspired by the overall direction of the property’s revitalization, the Top of the Hyatt brings a new energy to Manchester Grand Hyatt and the community of San Diego. The space has been designed by Forrest Perkins to capitalize on panoramic views while providing the perfect setting for meeting, socializing and relaxing. High bar tables ground the center of the space, while low, lounge seating and swivel chairs grace the perimeter allowing ample seating, hubs for activity and conversation and 360-degree views for all guests to enjoy. The impressive redesigned bar incorporates several lighting elements designed to create a soft, inviting glow while complementing the sophisticated and deepened tone color palette. The sophisticated Top of the Hyatt libations menu consists of 12 signature cocktails, an impressive wine selection, and domesticated, imported and local craft brews. Menu offerings from the Chef’s light fare focuses on fresh, California-fusion cuisine and includes Maine Lobster Bruschetta, lobster salad topped with local avocado-cilantro sauce and garlic crostini, and Queso Fondue, melted queso menonita, pancetta, roasted chilis and tomato relish paired with warm pretzel rolls.
Top of the Hyatt is currently re-open for libations and appetizers daily, allowing locals and travelers alike the chance to experience the recently renovated space, sit back and take in the stunning San Diego views.
