NAPIZZA, the popular Roman-style pizzeria known for its authentic Italian fare, will be opening a fifth location in Westfield UTC this October. The new location will deliver their vibrant nutritional tastes and whole food approach made popular by their well-known Encinitas, Hillcrest. Little Italy, and 4S Ranch locations.
With their focus on locally sourced ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere, co-owners Giulia Colmignoli and Christopher Antinucci are always looking places to serve hungry bellies that crave their healthy and clean Roman-style pizza creations.
“We wanted to introduce NAPIZZA to an increasingly vibrant area of San Diego. With the popularity of UTC and the progressive demand for healthy alternatives within commercial settings, we look forward to delivering a wholesome option to Westfield UTC,” says Giuila Colmignoli. “Being from Rome, we can’t wait to transport some true Italian flavor to this fun amazing destination!”
The new 1,219 square foot restaurant and 400 square feet of outdoor patio will welcome guests for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant will align with the sleek ambiance of Westfield UTC and the natural and modern NAPIZZA brand esthetic. The location’s fresh design by Matteo Raspagni of ere2 creative solutions, will feed the eyes of hungry bellies with chevron title patterns, American Tennessee wood planks and transparent pendant LED lights made out of recycled wine bottles.
Chef Alessio Poli will be the locations’ “Master Pizzaiolo”, pleasing hungry palates with fresh recipes, imported Italian ingredients and all-natural dough. The flour, yeast and pizza ovens are all imported from Colmignoi and Antinucci’s hometown of Rome, Italy. NAPIZZA’s homemade all-natural dough rises for 72 hours before baking, which results in an ultra-light crispy Roman-style pizza with more nutrients and less heaviness. The menu will also feature fresh salads, soups and sweet treats.
Following the brand’s commitment to the planet and its community, Westfield NAPIZZA will be 3-Star Green certified by the Green Restaurant Association and compost and recycle with 100% of their packaging being compostable. In their dedication to caring for others, NAPIZZA will also donate all leftover pizza to the food bank each day and hold non-profit community nights and pizza classes each month
