On Saturday, June 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. new restaurant Monzu Fresh Pasta in the heart of East Village invites the public to its Grand Opening featuring complimentary tastes of chef’s whim pasta creations. A sampling of this day’s “pop-up pastas” are expected to span from crispy fried stuffed ravioli and chocolate-filled ravioli to novel pasta cupcakes and more, while supplies last. Walk-ins are welcome. No purchase necessary.
During its Grand Opening, Monzu Fresh Pasta will also offer twenty percent off purchases from the restaurant’s retail selection of imported specialty foods like extra virgin olive oil, panettone, gnocchi, taralli and more alongside popular San Diego products including Farv’s Pickles.
Opened May 2018, Monzu Fresh Pasta is an authentic, family-owned eatery specializing in a wide variety of fresh pastas crafted using the techniques of Italy’s master pasta makers, plus and a rich assortment of imported Italian foods and raw pastas for those looking to bring the experience home.
