The following San Diego Holiday Dining Destinations are dishing up festive feasts to enjoy on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Dine at Farmer’s Bottega on December 24 or 25 and treat yourself and your loved ones to an unforgettable dining experience. This year, the Mission Hills eatery has curated a one-of-a-kind menu featuring some of their tastiest appetizers and entrée selections. Start dinner off with the Burrata, topped with prosciutto di parma, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, fig jam, and drizzled with a balsamic-white wine. Continue your experience with savory dishes including the signature Short Rib, served with herb soft polenta, tobacco onions, and a red wine reduction. Tucked along Chula Vista’s Third Avenue Village, Shake & Muddle will feature a Prix-Fixe Dinner Menu available on Christmas Eve, from 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Priced at $75 per person, the three-course feast will feature hearty selections like New York Strip Steak and Crab as well as festive cocktail pairings for $12 such as the Stumbling Santa, made with Godiva chocolate liqueur, Stoli vanilla vodka, peppermint schnaps and strawberry puree, served with whipped cream and candy cane garnish. The Chula Vista destination will also be open for brunch on Christmas Eve and regular brunch and dinner service on Christmas Day. 20|Twenty: Located in the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, enjoy a seasonal prix fixe menu for $98. The three-course menu will consist of an appetizer, entrée, and dessert of your choice. The first course consists of a Compressed Pear Salad made with Savoy Spinach, goat cheese, candied walnut, pomegranate, and an apple ginger vinaigrette. The entrée will be a Beef Wellington which includes Beef Tenderloin, mushroom duxelle, baked-in puff pastry, Lyonnaise Marble potato, Tarragon citrus braised green beans, and a Cabernet Demi-Glace. Fort Oak: Chef Brad Wise has launched Fort Oak’s decadent holiday lunch menu. Raise a toast over fancy oysters with uni and caviar, risotto with bone marrow and beef fat butter, a 50 oz. hearth-grilled prime porterhouse, or white truffle pasta with brown burro fusso, ricotta salata, and a heavy-handed shaving of fresh truffles to top it off, plus so much more. New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Were you hoping to attend a big festival or concert for the New Year’s Eve celebration, but decided to stay local with friends? Head down to Gaslamp because barleymash and ginger’s will be hosting Electric Barley Countdown (EBC) this year! Both of their spaces will be EDC themed – glow sticks, glow necklaces, neon lights, banners – with two main stages. The Barley Stage will be upstairs and will be playing your favorite EDM hits throughout the night, while the Miami Vice stage will be downstairs in ginger’s jamming 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s bangers!
