BANKERS HILL BAR + Restaurant, located at 2202 4th Ave., will serve up a quintessential Christmas Eve entrée, smoked ham, and a specialty cocktail available exclusively on Monday, Dec. 24. The holiday entrée, priced at $24.95, includes house-smoked ham topped with apple cider glaze and served with smashed yams and roasted root vegetables. Bleu Bohème, located in Kensington at 4090 Adams Ave., will celebrate Christmas Eve with a three-course prix fixe holiday dinner and cocktail, available exclusively on Monday, Dec. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. Created by owner and executive chef, Ken Irvine, Bleu Bohème’s Christmas Eve menu will be priced at $65 per person. The Westgate Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Dining: Executive Chef Fabrice Hardel will prepare a four-course prix fixe menu available in the elegant Westgate Room. A Very Carnitas’ Christmas

Santa Visits the Little Italy Food Hall/Sunday, December 16 from 12-2 p.m.

Santa will visit the Little Italy Food Hall on Sunday, December 16 from noon to 2 p.m. and will be available for festive photos with guests of all ages in front of the Piazza della Famiglia fountain, just outside the entrance to the food hall. Guests who show a same-day receipt from any Little Italy Food Hall vendor are invited to take photos with Santa for free. Bonus: on the menu during December adults will find an assortment of wintry cocktails like the Signora Pomegranate (photo attached).

Holiday Bowl Brunch

America’s largest balloon parade, the Holiday Bowl Parade, is right around the corner and Carnitas’ Snack Shack Embarcadero is ideally situated along the parade route! Giardino – casual east county gathering

Try something new this Christmas, and gather around the tables at Giardino. Chef Marco Provino has created a seasonal menu full of holiday classics and Italian favorites. The a la carte menu is available both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and includes items like Orange & Cranberry Salad, Roasted Duck Airline-style, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Lobster alla Griglia and Nutella & Pistachio Tiramisu.

Cusp Dining & Drinks – impressive dinner and views

Chef Ingrid Funes has prepared a three-course menu at Cusp, available on Christmas Day from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The meal starts with a selection of starters like Burrata & Serrano Ham and Potato Leek Soup. Comfort favorites follow, with entrees such as Pan Roasted Filet Mignon and Duo of Duck: half roasted duck breast and duck raviolo. Seasonal desserts round-out the meal, including White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Dinner is $65 per adult and $35 for kids. Cusp is also open for dinner and drinks on Christmas Eve.

Pacifica Del Mar – ocean view holiday dining

A special prix fixe menu by Chef Chris Idso includes dishes worth gathering for. Start off with chef’s Pear Endive Salad, Butternut Squash Soup with spiced apple crème fraiche. Move on to entrees like Free Range Turkey, Slow Cooked Angus Prime Rib, or Seared Atlantic Sea Scallops. Finish with a dessert, including Idso’s Chocolate-Pecan Tartlet or Blackberry Sorbet. Pacifica will be open from 12pm-9pm on Christmas Day. The 3-course menu will be $65 per person.

THE MED at La Valencia – elegant and tasteful dining with a view

Gather at THE MED and indulge in three delightful holiday courses garnished with ocean vistas, seasonal music and sweet treats. The menu consists of dishes such as Local Spiny Lobster Bisque, Lamb Sugo Pappardelle, Pumpkin + Truffle Risotto and Cranberry Cheesecake. Curadero is perfect for those wanting a solid holiday meal or drink without all the fuss. On Christmas Eve, guests can head to Curadero’s bar for all night happy hour starting at 3pm. That’s bites – like tacos and chicharrones – starting at $3, and cocktails starting at $8. On Christmas Day, take advantage of their Taco Window in the Arriba Room from 5-10pm, which makes the perfect post family hangout.

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Bencotto in Little Italy. Gather with friends and family for a Christmas Eve dinner. TRUST Restaurant

TRUST Restaurant will serve its mainstay a la carte menu of urban, rustic shareable plates and celebratory craft cocktails on Christmas Eve. Kick off the holiday season with Park 101’s Home for the Hoppydays December beer competition, which will run all month long. Check out the Carlsbad, family-friendly spot for the first two weeks of December to vote on your favorite in matchups like Mission’s Guava IPA vs. Modern Times Orderville. The third week of the month will be a battle between the winners and during the last week, $5 pints of the final winner will be available! Park 101 will also be showing family holiday movies, such as Polar Express and Muppet Christmas Carol, every Wednesday in December.

Both Woodstock’s Pizza locations will be making spirits bright with Naughty or Nice Pint Nights, where beer fanatics are strongly encouraged to sport their ugliest Christmas sweaters. The pizza joint near SDSU will be holding their event on Thursday, December 13th from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. 3 Punk Ales Brewing Co. will be poured and those who come in their sweaters will get the $3 glass fee waived for the evening. SANTA!!!! I KNOW HIM! Cass Street Bar and Grill, a PB local favorite for over 50 years, will be hosting ELF Trivia on Thursday, December 13th from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Relieve the fun and laughs of the 2003 hit movie and answer fun questions about Buddy the Elf, all while sipping local brews like Ballast Point Sculpin or Stone Enjoy By.
