El Chingon, the Gaslamp Quarter’s “Bad Ass Mexican” restaurant will pay homage to one of Santa’s most notorious reindeer with a new holiday cocktail, “Gettin’ Blitzen,” available through the month of December. Created by beverage director Ryan Andrews, the watermelon-flavored cocktail is made with Azuñia blanco tequila, house-made watermelon cordial, lime, tajín and topped with a green and red paleta. The specialty cocktail is priced at $25.
