El Chingon, GBOD Hospitality Group’s “Bad Ass” Mexican restaurant located in the Gaslamp Quarter at 560 5th Ave., will offer outdoor dining as part of the new “Gaslamp Curbside” outdoor dining on Fifth Avenue from Thursday through Saturday.
El Chingon is open from 11 a.m. until 1:30 a.m., Monday through Sunday. As part of “Gaslamp Curbside,” the Mexican restaurant will offer outdoor dining on Fifth Avenue from 3 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Gaslamp restaurant’s full food and drink menu will be available to order, including Bad Ass Elote ‘a la Linea,’ made with fire-roasted corn on the cobb coated in cotija cheese, mayonnaise, tajin and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos; carne asada plate, served with sliced avocado, beans rice, grilled green onions, radish and pico de gallo and two corn tortillas; and more.
For the health and safety of guests and in accordance with county and state regulations, El Chingon is limiting occupancy to 50 percent and requiring masks for all patrons, as well as following all social distancing guidelines and cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
