Dough Nations is a 2,500-square-foot restaurant now open at the Mercado del Barrio, a mixed-use center in Barrio Logan, with indoor and patio seating for 77 guests. As part of its décor, Dough Nations displays work by local artists. The first series will be on loan from a local gallery and will contain pieces inspired by the surrounding community.
The seventh concept to join GBOD Hospitality Group’s portfolio of restaurants and bars in San Diego, the Dough Nations menu includes classic Italian and internationally-inspired appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas. Pizzas are available by the slice or whole pie. Dough Nations features a full bar complete with cocktails, wine and beer, including GBOD Hospitality Group’s locally-brewed “GBOD Lager,” which combines elements of European pilsners and Mexican lagers.
Dough Nations is located at 1985 National Ave., Suite 1101 in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. More information is available on the website at www.doughnationsd.com, by calling 619.487.0802, and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter at @DoughNationSD.

About GBOD Hospitality Group
GBOD Hospitality Group was founded in 2012 by brothers Raymond and Patrick Davoudi in San Diego with the opening of Mezé Greek Fusion in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Two new partners, Joe Santos and Aleko Achtipes, joined GBOD in 2014 with the aim to build a portfolio of dynamic hospitality brands. Building on the success of Mezé, GBOD took over operations of Prohibition, an underground speakeasy at 548 Fifth Ave. in February 2017; followed by the opening El Chingon Bad Ass Mexican in May 2017; Mezé at Liberty Station in June 2017; and Havana 1920, located at 548 Fifth Ave. in October 2017. GBOD added Monkey King, located at 467 Fifth Ave., to its portfolio in June 2018 and introduced Dough Nations to the Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego in Feb. 2019. With seven restaurants now under its umbrella, GBOD is now working to develop sister companies in related industries.
