Dinner With A View, a unique pop-up dining event coming to Liberty Station this February, announces its partnership with Top Chef contestant and local chef, Claudette Zepeda, who will prepare an exclusive three-course meal for guests to enjoy. Dinner With A View will be located in Liberty Station’s Central Promenade and will feature 33 beautiful, intimate clear frameless geodesic domes that have been transformed into terrariums. The dining event will launch February 6, 2020 and will run through March 8, 2020.

We can’t wait for guests of Dinner With A View to enjoy an enchanting evening under the stars featuring a standout menu created using world-renowned flavors and locally sourced ingredients.”
Chef Zepeda served as the Executive Chef and Partner of El Jardín, a modern Mexican restaurant located in Liberty Station. Named a 2019 James Beard Foundation Best Chef: West semifinalist, and a season 15 Top Chefcontestant, Zepeda is known for creating inspired and forward-thinking dishes. Prior to her time at El Jardín, she served as chef de cuisine at Javier Plascencia’s Bracero. She also worked alongside chef Gavin Kaysen at his former San Diego restaurant, El Bizcocho.

Dinner With A View guests are invited to choose from three daily seating times, 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Those interested in attending are encouraged to sign up online to receive event updates and special offers. Dome reservations are priced at $199.99 and dinner reservations are set at $109.99 per guest. Each dome reservation requires a minimum of four guests and can accommodate up to six guests. About Chef Claudette Zepeda
James Beard Best Chef West semifinalist Claudette Zepeda is a San Diego-based chef most recently known for her time as the executive chef & partner behind El Jardín, a regional Mexican restaurant in San Diego. During her tenure, El Jardín received a glowing review from the New York Times, inclusion on Esquire’s 2018 Best New Restaurants, and recognition from Michelin on their 2019 Bib Gourmand list. Zepeda was named both Eater San Diego and San Diego Union Tribune’s Chef of the Year in 2018. Prior to El Jardín, Zepeda was chef de cuisine at Javier Plascencia’s celebrated Bracero and also spent time alongside chef Gavin Kaysen at his former San Diego restaurant, El Bizcocho.
