Located in the heart of Mission Beach, just steps from the sand, is Miss B’s Coconut Club, an island-inspired eatery and bar that’s been serving up flavorful renditions of Caribbean bites since April of 2016. Today, the tropical restaurant launched a brand-new menu, with dishes designed by the Grind and Prosper Culinary Director, Chef Quinnton Austin.
Along with new menu items, Miss B’s has also revamped some of their popular dishes such as the Miss B’s Chicken and Waffles. Seasoned fried chicken atop a golden-brown waffle with spicy mango sauce and chipotle-mango maple syrup will do ya’ just right.
With roots in Louisiana and experience cooking French, Caribbean and Italian cuisines, Chef Quinnton, AKA Chef Q, has global talent in the kitchen. With his creative culinary mind and a knack for spicing up menus, Chef Q created new dishes to enhance the Caribbean flare at Miss B’s. Below are some of the tasty new menu items:
- Start your meal with the Soft Shell Crab Sliders, two petite kolache buns with fried soft-shell crab topped with tomato, spinach, melted gruyere and a jalapeno-strawberry spread. Or opt for the Cauliflower Fritters, that come served seared and drizzled with a garlic aioli.
- Experience Miss B’s Whole Market Fish, cooked to order in roasted pepper and lemon butter, seasoned with herb smoked salt and cracked pepper. Chef Q serves this up with rosemary potatoes and a cauliflower broccolini blend.
- The BBQ Blackberry Chipotle Ribs rack served with spicy slaw are a game changer. The combination of smoky barbecue and sweet blackberry makes these ribs a must-try!
