Wednesday, October 28th is National First Responders Day, and Corner Chicken and Tajima are both thanking the men and women who’ve been on the front lines this year, and every year.

First responders who stop by Corner Chicken, in East Village, on the 28th will get half-priced combos, which include tenders, wings, their beloved Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich, and a newer menu item – Loaded Fries. At Corner Chicken, guests can select the spice level for their order, so any dish can be customized!

Corner Chicken opened their doors during the pandemic, in June, so they wanted to find a way to show support for others who have shown resilience during this time.

Tajima, which opened their sixth San Diego location in March of this year, is also thanking first responders with 50% off any ramen bowl. Try the original Tajima Ramen, made with tonkotsu chicken and pork broth, egg noodles, pork or chicken chashu, half a ramen egg, fried garlic, bean sprouts, baby bok choy, green onions, and sesame seeds. They also have a Coconut Green Curry Ramen on special for the month of October.

First responders can present their badge when ordering to receive 50% off, for either dine-in or take-out!

Both Corner Chicken and all Tajima locations offer limited indoor dining, patio seating, and to-go ordering through their websites.
