The Smoking Gun, a retro cocktail bar and southern-influenced eatery located in the Gaslamp District, is launching a new classic favorites menu. Lots of the old favorites can still be found, but the menu now has an even more extensive selection of 70’s and 80’s inspired dishes.
Along with classic favorites like the Loaded Thick Chips and Lemon-Peppered Chicken Drumettes, The Smoking Gun added:
- Farmers Market Veggie Pasta, a hearty bowl of mixed vegetables, garlic, white wine, elbow pasta, and fresh basil.
- A handful of new sandwiches, including the San Diego Cheesesteak – shaved top sirloin, caramelized peppers and onions and poblano-beer cheese sauce all come on a house-baked bagel roll. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich is also a must-try, with golden fried chicken, pepper jack cheese, crisp romaine, tomatoes, red onions, and homemade ranch on herb focaccia bread.
- Don’t forget about dessert! Enjoy a giant fried chocolate chip Funnel Cookie, with vanilla ice cream and berry coulis. Or indulge in the Split Decision chocolate brownie with bananas, vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, fresh strawberries, and nuts.
This smokin’ new menu is available now, so head to The Smoking Gun at 555 Market Street, San Diego CA 92101 to check it out for yourself.
