Committed to using the best local produce and locally caught fish, Executive Chef Ryan Moore prepares classic Italian dishes that have been consistent throughout the years. “We’ve evolved by creating new dishes, keeping the menu fresh and new, yet still executing our most popular dishes,” he says. “We’re also starting to offer more specialty prix fixe menus for the holidays.”
The cozy, yet elegant ambiance at Primavera is paired with upscale and personalized service, ensuring repeat customers. “We have experienced chefs that have been making many of our classic dishes for years,” says Moore. “It hasn’t been widely shared, but our Caesar dressing has been made by the same person for the past twenty- plus years.”
Depending on the season and the produce available, Moore changes his preparations or ingredients, specifically in his seafood and risotto dishes. Popular favorites include the Osso Buco which is always on the menu.
Moore strives to making his customers feel special. So much so, that if anyone wants to order something that’s not featured on the menu, he’s happy to prepare it.
Since opening nearly 28 years ago, Primavera Ristorante has remained one of the most popular restaurants in Coronado and has been voted “Best Italian Fare” by Coronado Lifestyle Magazine, as well as been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence every year since 2014.
