As the “craft” concept continues to permeate the beer realm, its pursuit has now expanded into other facets of the restaurant world, incorporating traditional saké as well as whisky into the mix. Enter BeShock Ramen & Sake Bar, a culinary hotspot dedicated to its craft, which is to serve quality ramen and saké, handpicked to complement the food menu.
Celebrate the art of “craft” at the BeShock Japanese Craft Dinner featuring Sake, Beer and Whiskey on May 11th. Sporting a trove of saké knowledge from extensive research, Owner Ayaka Ito has honed her skills as a certified Saké Master to curate a menu that accentuates traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as informs guests of sake’s broad flavor spectrum, similar to flavor notes found in beer, and wine and spirits.
The event will take place at BeShock in East Village, and will be sponsored by Coedo Beer, ENTER.SAKE, and Youngs Market, with music curated by Richie Hawtin, the owner and visionary behind ENTER.SAKE. The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and is reservation-only at $50 per person.
