Following past years’ sold out events, the Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival in partnership with the San Diego Brewers Guild will return for its seventh year running on Friday, March 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. Taking place throughout the two levels of The Abbey on Fifth Avenue, a historic 10,000-square foot venue, this 21+ event will showcase a range of San Diego craft breweries and Bankers Hill eateries alongside pop-up galleries of local artists’ works and live DJ music, and is expected to draw more than 500 attendees.
This year’s festival will feature unlimited access to two-ounce pours from more than a dozen local craft breweries including 3 Punk Ales, Booze Brothers Brewing Co., Burning Beard Brewing Co., Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Green Flash Brewery, Latchkey Brewing Company, Mike Hess Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing Company, Rock Bottom La Jolla, Second Chance Beer Company, Thorn Brewing Co. and more. Complimentary savory and sweet bites will be served by Bankers Hill eateries including Cucina Urbana, The Corner Drafthouse, WetStone Wine Bar, Juice Alchemy, Hornblower, Parc Bistro-Brasserie, Barrio Star, Jimmy Carter’s Mexican Cafe, Grab and Go Subs, The Abbey and more.
The event’s growing list of participating artists includes Studio Galería Pilar Montaño, Danielle Zhang, Cayce Hanalei, T Jay Santa Ana, Dots.One, Aimee Baca and Anthony Ray Jimmiez. Art is expected to range from paintings and fine art photography to creative displays, with many works for sale at the event.
The Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival is a dynamic social fundraiser organized by the Bankers Hill Business Group, a Micro Improvement District dedicated to showcasing the growing community of Bankers Hill near Downtown San Diego. The neighborhood is noted for its collection of 19thcentury architecture alongside modern luxury high rises, historic bridges crossing over hiking canyons, several notable restaurants and artisanal coffee shops, sweeping views of San Diego Bay and adjacency to Balboa Park. The festival is co-sponsored by Metro CDC and the San Diego Brewers Guild.

About the Bankers Hill Business Group: The Bankers Hill Business Group is partially funded by the City of San Diego’s Micro District Program and is managed solely by volunteer business owners within Bankers Hill.
