Aloha Poke Co. opens their new flagship location in Pacific Beach, at 710 Hornblend Street, San Diego. West Coast Executive Director McKensie Kahnweiler said, “The whole vibe of Aloha Poke is perfect for Pacific Beach. We live down the street, love our neighborhood and wanted to create a place where people would want to hang out and offer a different experience than a typical poke restaurant. The fact you can watch the sunset everyday out of the front windows is an added bonus.”

The Chicago-based Aloha Poke Co. is expanding quickly throughout Southern California with recent openings in Los Angeles in Century City and Marina Del Rey, Costa Mesa and now in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Their mission is simple: rethink fast food by providing fresh, fast and tasty bowls full of quality, raw ingredients that fuel the day.

Aloha Poke Co. stands out from the crowd by using fresh, never frozen, sashimi grade fish raised in the most optimal ecosystems and caught using sustainable practices. Menu highlights include traditional sesame and shoyu marinated tuna, salmon or tofu and unique combinations and small bites such as toro on a corn crunch tostada, the “Walkin Poke” combo of poke + Fritos, or rice balls packed with shrimp or veggie crunch.  Their secret is in the sauce: guests can #getsauced with Aloha Poke’s array of options, mix and match the signature Spicy Aioli with the sweet and savory Samurai or try the chili and ponzu mayo Volcano Sauce – a crowd favorite.

Aloha Poke Co’s locations are created with a tongue in cheek ambiance inspired by 1950’s Hawaiian luau and punctuated by hot pink neons. For more information, please visit www.alohapokeco.com.
