
Chef Bryant’s Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich with Chickpea Curry Sauce will be available at both Mendocino Farms local outposts (La Jolla and Del Mar) from March 12th-25th giving San Diegans the opportunity to get a taste of one of Los Angeles’ most recognizable chefs without having to deal with the headache of LA traffic. Chef Bryant has won numerous culinary accolades including Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2012. At the helm of Cassia, he’s witnessed the restaurant become a critically-acclaimed dining darling, receiving a James Beard semifinalist nod in 2015 for Best New Restaurant and three stars in the New York Times.
Inspired by Cassia’s popular Chickpea Curry served with clay oven-baked flatbread, Chef Bryant’s thoughtfully conceived sandwich features shaved, roasted Mary’s free-range chicken, scallion and lemongrass relish, fresh herb salad and fontina cheese, served on rustic white bread. For added flavor and texture, Chef Bryant has added a layer of provolone on the outside of the bread and a side of chickpea coconut curry for dipping.
