
The Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival in partnership with the San Diego Brewers Guild will return for its eighth year running on Friday, March 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. Taking place throughout The Abbey on Fifth Avenue—a historic event venue considered one of the neighborhood’s most iconic buildings—this 21+ event will serve up a taste of Bankers Hill restaurants alongside pop-up art exhibits, local craft beer tastings and live music. A highly anticipated event that has sold out in prior years, the Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival is expected to draw more than 500 attendees.
This year’s festival will feature unlimited two-ounce pours from fifteen local craft breweries. The growing lineup includes Mikkeller Brewing, Latchkey Brewing Company, Green Flash Brewing Co., Alpine Beer Company, Mike Hess Brewing, Booze Brothers Brewing Co., Latchkey Brewing Company, Pizza Port, Pure Project Brewing and Thorn Brewing Co.
Ticket holders will also enjoy complimentary bites served by a selection of Bankers Hill’s favorite restaurants and caterers including Cucina Urbana, The Corner Drafthouse, WetStone Wine Bar, Hornblower, Parc Bistro-Brasserie, Barrio Star, Jimmy Carter’s Mexican Cafe, Papas & Tacos and The Abbey.
This year’s festival is partnered with The Urban Art Shop, a collective of San Diego-based artists and creatives, and participating artists include T.Jay Santa Ana, Dots.One, Aimee Baca, Sneha Craig, Trish Amante, Attiba Royster, Xayn Naz, Waylon Harrell, Vincent Robles, Kelly Oelschlager, Yvette Ramon, Irene Zepeda, Vincent Ghoste, An Oak Eye and Luis Davilas. Guests can expect a diverse range of artwork to be on display, and many pieces for sale at the event.
The Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival is a dynamic social fundraiser organized by the Bankers Hill Business Group, a Micro Improvement District dedicated to supporting and showcasing the growing community of Bankers Hill near Downtown San Diego. The neighborhood features a collection of significant 19thcentury architecture alongside modern luxury high rises, historic bridges crossing over hiking canyons, several popular restaurants, sweeping views of San Diego Bay and proximity to Balboa Park. The festival is co-sponsored by Metro CDC and the San Diego Brewers Guild.
