The 10th Annual Lobsterfest at Newport Beach will be held at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort on Sunday, August 5, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m. This annual celebration of summer centers around a fresh Whole Maine Lobster dinner with dancing to live music, raffle drawing for a big screen TV, and fun on the beach for the entire family. Live Whole Maine Lobster flown in fresh on the morning of the event is prepared on-site alongside a buffet that includes NY Strip Steak, corn-on-the-cob, red potatoes, salad, freshly baked sourdough rolls, and dessert.

In addition to serving a whole Maine Lobster dinner and all its complements, the Lobsterfest at Newport Beach features a full bar with spirits, craft beer, and premium wine. We’re happy to announce that our band will be the “West Coast Party Crashers” who was a huge hit last year! Their high energy four piece dance band covers everything from Contemporary Rock to Hip Hop, 90’s Alternative, 70’s Disco/Funk and 80’s New Wave/Rock… guaranteed to keep the party rolling.

About Lobsterfest at Newport Beach – Clawing Our Way to the Top!

In April of 2013, The Lobsterfest Foundation was recognized as 501c-3 Non-profit Corporation by the State of California. Since that time, the proceeds from the Lobsterfest have adopted the wish of five children through Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire…just to name a few: Ireland M who was suffering from leukemia wanted to experience Hawaii, Luc O, living with Lewis-Metabolic Disorder wanted to meet Winter the Dolphin in Florida, Anton I, a young boy living with lymphocytic leukemia, wanted to travel to New York City with his family, and Olivia Z who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis asked for assistance for her tuition to attend college. And with your help, we will adopt another wish this year.

Leadership Tomorrow, in conjunction with the Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine and Tustin chambers of commerce, is a nine-month program designed for informed citizens committed to learning more about their communities. Tuition for the year is $1400 and since 2012, we have provided over $35,000.00 to the scholarship fund to make it possible for anyone who can benefit from the life-changing civic leadership experience to do so. “As the Lobsterfest at Newport Beach continues to grow, the Board hopes to add additional worthy charities to its support list.” – Tim Brown, Lobsterfest Foundation President
