Along with their full menu of traditional dishes and breakfast favorites, Brian’s 24 will be offering a Turkey Pot Pie special (while supplies last).
Spending the day at the beach? In Mission Beach, Miss B’s Coconut Club is hosting their first Caribbean inspired turkey dinner! They will be open for brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and then the Thanksgiving buffet will start at 3:00 p.m. Expect to find traditional Thanksgiving dishes with a Caribbean edge, with a tremendous amount of pies for dessert. Bellamy’s in Escondido will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For $50 per person, enjoy a three course Thanksgiving menu handcrafted by French Master Chef Patrick Ponsaty and Chef Jonathan Freyberg. For your first course, delight in Butternut Squash Soup with toasted pepitas or in Crab Ravioli in braised fennel and lobster vermouth sauce. The second course includes Chef Jonathan’s Thanksgiving Plate with herb stuffing, potato puree, green beans, roasted acorn squash, sage gravy and cranberry sauce, and four other dishes to choose from. Guests will enjoy three courses including choice of starters, entrees and desserts as well as wine and cocktail specials. The dinner is priced at $58.95 per person, with a children’s menu available for $16.95. The menu features dishes such as pumpkin-hominy soup; turkey prepared two ways with the breast roasted with fresh herbs and the legs and thighs “confit” style; king salmon; and warm gingerbread with strawberry confiture and caramel ice cream. Try the Thanksgiving-inspired pumpkin pie martini with Absolut vanilla vodka, pumpkin spice liqueur, Kailua, butterscotch schnapps and half and half served with crushed graham cracker rim.
Pacifica has created a three-course, seasonal feast set to the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. This holiday, Oceanside’s picturesque Hello Betty Fish House is serving up their own take on centuries-old traditions. Starting at 10:00 a.m. and going until 2:00 p.m. Executive Chef Jared Hills will be offering a special Thanksgiving breakfast menu and from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. they’ll be offering riffs on Thanksgiving classics. Hello Betty will also be offering a Bottomless Bloody Mary Bar for $15 and Bottomless Mimosas for $10. No reservations necessary, walk-ins welcome.
Further south at Le Parfait Paris in the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diegans can pick up holiday eclairs to impress even the most discerning Thanksgiving guest. The downtown area bakery and cafe will be offering a special eclair made with a pumpkin and ginger puree, a pecan whip cream, candied pecan and marshmallow. The eclair serves 5-6 people and can be purchased for $25. Guests can call the shop and order directly or place an order online at least one day prior to Thanksgiving. Le Parfait will also have some eclairs available on Thanksgiving Day when the location will be open all day.
Chef Stephane Voitzwinkler is pulling out all the stops this Thanksgiving to make it a holiday guests won’t soon forget. They are introducing the Turducken Sausage for a limited time in November and with each sold, Dog Haus will donate $1 to Meals on Wheels America. The out-of-box Thanksgiving delicacy itself is made with Turducken sausage (combination of duck, turkey and chicken) that’s topped with sweet potato fries, sage gravy, cranberry slaw and crispy onion, all served on grilled Hawaiian rolls.
