Located in the picturesque village of Coronado, just a block from the ocean, Leroy’s Kitchen & Lounge’s Executive Chef, JC Colón’s hands-on-approach and passion for simple, fresh ingredients shines through his menu. The Market Frittata features seasonal vegetables that change on a weekly basis, as Chef Colón picks out the freshest available ingredients every Friday night via Specialty Produce, which are in turn delivered the following morning just in time for brunch service. Two of JC’s favorite dishes include the Braised Brandt Beef Hash served with a crispy potato, poached Niman eggs, gravy and an herb crème fraiche as well as the Fennel Cured Skuna Bay Salmon with a crispy poached egg, fresh tzatziki sauce, and a bed of Suzie’s Farm greens. Leroy’s Berry Brioche French Toast is a surefire neighborhood favorite with raspberry mascarpone, mixed berry compote and a chambord reduction, and who could do without the basic brunch essential – bacon! Leroy’s Double Smoked Slab Bacon is slathered in maple sugar, then smoked with apple woodchips in an in-house smoker before delivered piping hot to the table.
