Holiday Cocktails Are The Buzz
We’ve rounded up some holiday-themed cocktails that can be found around San Diego, to keep you feeling warm, festive, and hydrated on the party circuit this season!
The Patio on Lamont is partnering with San Diego-based coconut water company, Coconut Beach, to make merrymaking easier this year with coconut water cocktails. Packed with essential electrolytes and potassium, coconut water is key to getting through the holiday season sans hangover. Created by lead bartender Richard Shina, the Coconut Rum Pum Pum Pum and Coco-Nutcracker cocktails are both mixed with Coconut Beach 100 % Pure Coconut Water, and can be jollily sipped on The Patio on Lamont’s cozy, charming patio all season long.

Gingerbread Martini at AVANT | North County

- Fall In New England – Johnnie Walker Red Label, fresh cold smoked apple puree, sapling Vermont maple liquor, don ciccio walnut amaro, cinnamon bitters, dehydrated apple.
- Cherry Picker – Rye, luxardo maraschino liquor, house made sarsaparilla soda. Bottled and labeled in-house. Served with a lowball with luxardo syrup half rim and flaming cinnamon stick.
- Lost in Europe – Bols genevere, galliano, crème de pèche, aperol, mascarpone cheese, cedar and blossom foam.
- Bijou #2 – Gin, green chartreuse, oaked dry vermouth and sweet vermouth, garnished with a hibiscus leaf.
- ¡Es Otoño Buey! – El silencio mezcal, chocolate persimmon puree, dry vermouth, ancho reyes splash of Julian cider. Served in a fancy highball over rocks, garnishished with dark chocolate covered maraschino and tarragon.
- Storm Born – USG Mt. gay black barrel, wild turkey rye, quince, lemon, domaine sante “bored’0 blanc, fill ginger beer, garnished with grapes and an orange twist.

Bracero Cocina de Raiz, you can always expect to get a kick out of your drinks. Their Passion of the Cristo is made with St. George Chili Vodka mixed with Campari, fresh passion fruit and lime, and topped off with some sea salt. Order from anywhere with their vertical bar and watch as these mixologists spice up your life.
If you find yourself in Pacific Beach, head over to Pacific Beach Alehouse and try their Spicy Pear. Made with Grey Goose Poire, crushed elderflowers and Serrano peppers, this drink can bring the heat. After your sinuses clear, head to their rooftop bar to breathe in that sweet, salty air and watch the sunset over the water.
Head to Tavern and try their El Choncho. With a generous amount of Espolón Reposado Tequila, agave, pineapple chunks, a splash of lime, and, most importantly, jalapeño slices, this drink is sure to give you that that warm, fuzzy feeling inside, and on your tongue.
If you want something less hot but equally as delicious, head to True North Tavern. Made with Kettle One Vodka, Lillet Blanc aromatized wine, lime, mint and cracked peppers, The North Parker won’t make you feel as if you’re breathing fire.
