San Diego chefs have been stepping off their line and getting behind the bar to shake, strain and serve ‘em up stiff at Quality Social’s newest weekly Wednesday lineup, SHIFT DRINKS. Shifting from the confines of their kitchen, guest chef bartenders including Alchemy’s Ricardo Heredia and Chad White of Sea Rocket Bistro have been mixing and pouring their favorite libations of choice, including a Swine Fashioned and Mammajuana Cocktail, at QS for a night of culinary debauchery. Up next? Guest Chef Craig Jimenez of Craft & Commerce who is lined up for tomorrow’s installment. “Anything’s game when it comes to a chef behind the bar,” says Executive Chef Jared Van Camp, the creative mind behind Quality Social’s new weekly event. “You never know what sort of creative concoctions to expect!” Shift Drinks takes place every Wednesday night from 10pm to close, with specials on PBR tall boys and pickleback shots available as well.
