Visit The Duck Dive in Pacific Beach for all of your to-go tequila needs. The Take Me to Mexico features Los Altos Plata tequila that is house infused with watermelon, basil and jalapeno, and shaken with fresh lemon juice and agave nectar. Make sure to add a few snacks to your to-go order like the signature Dive Wings. Duck Dive is open for take-out and delivery, Friday-Sunday from 12 p.m.-9 p.m.
Celebrate National Tequila Day with a fiery kick at The Fish Shop’s Point Loma location. Aside from a diverse seafood menu, the eatery is shaking up a must try Spicy Peach Margarita. This combination of tequila, triple sec, peach puree, jalapenos, fresh lime juice and Fish Shop’s signature margarita mix is sure to have you ordering another. Open daily, enjoy happy hour and plenty of patio seating.
Take the tequila hunt straight to Third Avenue Village. Chula Vista’s historic downtown area is home to a medley of locally owned spots packed with plenty of options. Start the evening at Shake and Muddle for a tropical twist via the Cortez Way –featuring 1800 coconut tequila, coconut infused syrup, fresh lime juice and a toasted coconut rim. Or, top off the evening with a trip to Tavern at the Vogue and enjoy a mix of tequila, lime juice, bloody Mary mix, lime, and olives when you order the Bloody Maria. Both eateries are open for outdoor dining and to-go services.
Located along Little Italy’s popular India Street, Cloak and Petal offers creative cocktails such as the Forbidden Remedy, which features mezcal, tequila blanco, Yuzu, lime, pineapple, and a seven-spice mixture. In addition to take-out and delivery services, the eatery offers daily patio seating, and exclusive Al Fresco dining on the weekends—reservations recommended.

Ranch Rider will be riding in to San Diego and Orange County with three Southwest-inspired flavors featuring premium tequila or vodka, sparkling water and fresh-squeezed citrus, offering a refreshingly natural alternative to mass-produced, malt-liquor-based “seltzers.”
Mezé Greek Fusion has added fresh, new tequila and mezcal cocktails to its menu. National Tequila Day is certainly a holiday worth celebrating, and what better way to spend it than with hand-crafted, Greek-inspired cocktails. New cocktails on the menu include Athenas Mischief, made with infused Maestro Dobel Tequila, pomegranate, basil and fresh lemon; and Poseidon’s Storm, a combination of El Silencio Mezcal, cucumber, pineapple, lime, Greek honey and almond.
New to the Pacific Beach scene, Break Point is home to an exciting array of libations and decadent dishes. While the eatery is temporarily closed, guests can still shake up their very own tequila-based cocktail right at home with this specialty recipe courtesy of the beachside spot.
The Curve Ball
- 2 oz. Tequila of your choosing
- .75 oz Lime
- .75 oz Agave
- .50 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 Jalapeno, sliced
- 1 Pineapple spear for garnish
- Rim tall glass with Tajin
- Add in jalapenos followed by all other ingredients into shaker
- Shake and pour into glass
- Garnish with pineapple and extra jalapenos
